A LUXURY COASTAL LINER TRAVELLING FROM  CAIRNS QUEENSLAND
TO PERTH WESTERN AUSTRALIA AND PORTS IN BETWEEN.
 COMMENCING IN 1936 TO OUTBREAK OF W.W.2 1939
 SHE BECAME H.M.S KANIMBLA ARMED MERCHANT CRUISER
THE SHIP WAS DECOMMISSIONED 1949 
RETURNING TO ORIGINAL PURPOSE
AFTER SEVERAL OWNERS AND NAME CHANGES
 SHE WAS FINALLY BROKEN UP IN 1973

I BELIEVE THIS TO BE AN AUSTRALIAN MADE COMPACT
ONE OF THREE IN MY COLLECTION
HANDSOME BRASS CASE.
EXTREMELY WELL MADE
 LOOSE POWDER COMPACT.
